Records players are cheap, plentiful and easy to come by. I understand if you're living in a shelter or your car; but if you can get yourself a Nintendo Switch, an IPad, a PS4 and a laptop, there is no reason why such a self-respecting Hip-Hop head shouldn't have a record player. Trust me, there's no reason to be intimidated by the various models, features, etc. Unless you're a hardcore DJ, you really don't need to know about types of drives, needles, etc.

Great comments! I like how you kinda broke down the history of horrorcore as well as reviewing the song. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteBut just for the record, the original sticker-cover, white-label pressing of Devil's Son does have production credits on the label. I'm holding a copy right now, and it reads:
-L. Coleman- Produced by Showbiz for Showbiz Productions, Inc., Lord Finesse, Buck Wild & Craig Boogie/Managment: Dick Scott Inc./Hogland Entertainment/From The Forthcoming Columbia Release 53795 Publisher: Big L Productions Inc. (ASCAP)
